On the issue of current at the transmitter's series resonance.

Hardware design
7月 10, 2020 by Darcy 515

The series resonant circuit driven by the full bridge at the transmitter end is equivalent to a short circuit in the absence of a load. Generally, the resistors are connected to GND, but I see that many circuits are only connected to a resistance of less than 1 ohm. Connect a 1 ohm resistor and resonate under no load. The current is 5A. The power consumption of this resistor is 5W. Some people may say that the duty cycle is adjusted. If it is adjusted to 1A or below, the current is still very large. How to solve this of?

Therefore, the wireless charging is detected by the load, the transmitter can measure the current, the receiver can control the current, and the receiver controls the current according to the protocol to notify the transmitter that the reception is correct.

Must there be no load? Is it difficult to reduce the current?
